Classroom Assessment as a basis for Teacher Change (CATCH) The main focus of the CATCH project (2001-2003) was to develop and test a program of professional development to bring about fundamental changes in teachers' instruction by helping them change their classroom assessment practices. Funded by the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI).
Numworx was developed from the former Digital Mathematics Environment, which includes instructional sequences to support student use of dynamic, interactive applets. A management system allows teacher use of classroom accounts, including options for customization such as design of new activities, individualizing student activities, and different options for feedback. School accounts can be purchased for a modest fee.
